Twin Lakes' LIT Program

The "Leader In Training" (LIT) program is designed to teach teenagers (13-15) to be servant leaders through an amazing camp experience. The rustic, outdoor setting provides a backdrop free from distractions for learning basic biblical leadership principles and promoting personal spiritual growth. LIT's are then given opportunities to serve within our traditional camp setting, which provides a deeper understanding of the duties and responsibilities of a counselor and better equips him or her to confidently execute their own responsibilities.

The LIT experience begins with meeting the LIT Directors and worshipping with the entire staff on Sunday evening. LIT sessions run from Sunday evening through Saturday for Overnight Camps and Monday through Friday for Day Camps. Throughout the week the LIT's help make meals happen, serve alongside the counselors at activities and help execute the evening programs; all this while building relationships that will last a lifetime and having a blast. It is a unique learning opportunity in biblical leadership training with lessons that will be of value in every walk of life.

The 2011 LIT application will available in September of 2010!

LIT applicants are required to complete an application and interview process. Twin Lakes reserves the right to accept or deny applications for the LIT program.
