Retreats

Retreat. Refresh. Connect at Twin Lakes.

Nestled in the rolling hills of central Mississippi, Twin Lakes spans over 600 acres with two serene lakes and a welcoming atmosphere. Just south of Jackson, it’s the perfect place to step away from the busyness of life and gather in community. With modern conference spaces, rustic lodging, and dedicated staff to guide your event from planning to completion, Twin Lakes provides everything you need for an unforgettable camp, retreat, or conference experience.

Because of Twin Lakes Camp and Conference Center’s  Statement of Faith and it being a ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, MS, ordinarily we limit the use of our facilities to Christian conferences and groups whose core beliefs and values are compatible with ours.  Other conferences and groups, however, may be considered on an individual basis.

We would love to serve your group!

Reserved Activities

Camp Fire

Schedule a bonfire for your group. The Bonfire Site is located on a little peninsula on the South Lake and is ideally situated for stargazing and enjoying Twin Lakes at night. There are benches surrounding the fire ring, and we even provide you with marshmallow skewers if you want to bring s’more supplies. A Twin Lakes host will light the fire early so it is going well before you arrive. The bonfire can be scheduled for 45 minute sessions. On especially busy weekends, multiple groups will want to enjoy a bonfire. Remember to make your bonfire reservations early so you can get the time that best fits your schedule.

Seasonal and Reserved Activity.

Get ready for the ultimate rush! Our giant slip n’ slide sends you flying down a long, soapy runway of water and laughter. Perfect for cooling off on a hot day, this high-energy activity is all about speed, splashes, and nonstop fun with friends.

Seasonal and Reserved Activity. The pool is open at Twin Lakes from the time it gets warm until it gets too cool to swim. It has two shallow ends and a deeper section in the middle that reaches a depth of 6 feet.

We do require you to provide at least 1 lifeguard for every 25 people at the pool (not just swimmers). If you have any questions please send us an email or give us a call.

Waterfront Setting

Seasonal and Reserved Activity. During the weeks before and after Twin Lakes Summer Camp, you can reserve the Waterfront area. The 155-Foot Super Slide is available during the warm season, and for a limited time period after Twin Lakes Summer Camp the Aquajump is available. The Waterfront area must be reserved well ahead of time because we must hire our own experienced lifeguards. We provide lifeguards that have been trained to supervise the specific activities at Waterfront and most of them have spent the whole summer lifeguarding for Twin Lakes. There is a per person fee associated with the use of the Waterfront area. Contact us for more information.

When you visit Twin Lakes make sure to schedule Hayless Hayride for your group. A Twin Lakes host will take you on a trip around the beautiful campus and woods of Twin Lakes. The Hayless Hayride trailers can accommodate up to 25 people per trailer; so if your group is larger, we will make multiple trips. In the colder months be prepared to bundle up and enjoy the night sky. If you prefer we can even schedule a Hayless Hayride during the daylight hours, just make sure to reserve your spot.

Experience the thrill of the Aerial Adventure at Twin Lakes! This high ropes course features 12 self-contained elements designed to challenge your group in both fun and meaningful ways.  Participants can also soar across our 400-foot zipline or take a leap of faith on the QuickFlight, a 40-foot freefall that is sure to get hearts racing. Perfect for conference groups, you can schedule the full Aerial Adventure package or customize your experience by choosing just one of these exciting elements. Whether your goal is team building, personal growth, or simply enjoying an unforgettable adventure together, this program is a highlight your group won’t forget.

Rock Climbing is a great way for you group to experience a personal challenge and have a great time together.

The Rock Climbing Tower at Twin Lakes has two different heights, a 30 foot wall and a 50 foot wall. There is enough room to run two ropes on each wall, which means up to four people at a time can participate in rock climbing.

We provide a trained facilitator to take you to the tower and take care of your group. We will assign enough facilitators for you to finish in a timely manner.

The Team Building Program at Twin Lakes is designed to help groups grow in communication, trust, and teamwork while having fun together. Through a variety of physically and mentally engaging challenges, participants will learn valuable lessons, share meaningful experiences, and build stronger community—all from a Christian worldview. Whether you are a youth group, school, business team, or ministry, this program provides a unique opportunity to stretch comfort zones, discover strengths, and practice putting others first. Our trained facilitators will guide and debrief along the way, ensuring the experience is impactful, customizable, and transformative for your team.
