Dates

The Internship begins in mid August and finishes the end of July. This 11.5 month, full-time residential internship is ideal for individuals seeking a deeply immersive, year-long experience.

Compensation

The Internship is a full-time, salaried role offering health benefits through Twin Lakes, paid time off, and on-site housing with utilities.

Hiring Process

Applications are now open for the 2026–2027 Internship starting in August and will remain open until the two positions are filled. Prior Twin Lakes experience is not required.

Ministry Experience

Gain practical skills through real responsibilities in a variety of ministry settings.

Growth Opportunities:

What to Expect:

  • Serve on weekends and weekdays during conference season

Christ Centered Community

Live and serve alongside others while practicing Christ-centered fellowship.

Growth Opportunities:

  • Build healthy, Biblical community
  • Grow as a contributing, Christ-honoring member of the team
  • Serve with joy and humility, with the ability to hold one another accountable in love.

What to Expect:

  • Live on-site in gender-specific housing
  • Take part in biweekly Community Nights 
  • Share life closely with fellow interns and staff

Discipleship

Be shaped by God’s Word, challenged in your faith, and mentored toward deeper obedience.

Growth Opportunities:

  • Deepen your obedience to Christ by applying God’s Word
  • Engage in spiritual disciplines that form maturity
  • Cultivate a commitment to long-term discipleship through Gospel-centered relationships.

What to Expect:

  • Be mentored by staff for spiritual guidance and discipleship
  • Participate in monthly discipleship challenges
  • Practice rhythms of prayer, Scripture reading, and reflection

Servant Leadership

Develop as a leader by putting others first and stepping up when it matters most.

  • Strengthen leadership skills through real responsibility
  • Cultivate an others-first mindset
  • Be prepared to meet needs as they arise

What to Expect:

  • Take on increasing leadership responsibility throughout the year
  • Step into a leadership position during the summer

Purpose

Our internship is designed to equip young leaders through hands-on ministry experience, Christ-centered community, spiritual growth, and servant leadership development. Interns will be challenged to grow mentally, physically, spiritually, and relationally as they serve in a variety of ministry contexts.
